C4 CAMOSKIN OCEAN 3mm Jacket

The Camo Skin is part of the new line of spearfishing wetsuits developed by C4 Carbon. This is an open cell neoprene on the inside with external camouflage elastic lining.

For the Camo Skin line C4 uses 100% limestone based CR Neoprene Rubber (Chloroprene), like all the best Japanese neoprene foams. Thanks to a content of 99% calcium carbonate, this neoprene is among the most environmentally friendly. The neoprene material is also certified by the TÜV for the absence of substances considered harmful such as Phthalates and Latex.

Melco Tape has been heat-glued to the base of the jacket’s buckles to prevent them from causing tears in the jacket when it is worn and buttoned.

The jacket and pants are sold separately and are available in 3mm, 5mm, and 7mm thicknesses.

Design

The cut of the pants and jacket is pre-shaped and highly anatomical, improving fit and movement in the water. The low number of panels used to assemble the suit has allowed a reduction in the number of seams, thus increasing the comfort and elasticity of the suit, especially in the joint area.

The seams on the shoulder, knee and elbow areas have been eliminated to avoid unnecessary resistance and reduce friction to a minimum. The cut in the lumbar and groin area is pre-shaped to increase the fit of the suit. The crotch area is also pre-shaped to avoid annoying chafing.

Lining

The lining of this spearfishing wetsuit is made of 95% Polyester and 5% Spandex. This allows the fabric to have a perfect combination of two-way elasticity and maximum resistance to external agents. The two camouflage colours are not a simple replicated modular pattern or a photographic reproduction, but have been created and hand painted digitally. This makes the two color combinations not only unique and non replicable but extremely effective in camouflaging the spear fisherman.

Finishing

All the panels of the suit are glued individually by hand and sewn with a non-passing seam on the outside, ensuring the least possible passage of water. All edges of the suit are finished with the same type of stitching. The jacket also features Lycra binding to prevent damage when wearing the suit.

The padded chest reinforcement is integrated into the jacket to offer greater stability and comfort when loading the spearguns, and it is finished with a polyurethane coating that visually identifies it on the jacket. The same protection is featured on the elbows and knees.
