Scorpena wetsuit Samurai Yamamoto 5mm

The Scorpena Samurai is a colder water wetsuit made of Yamamoto 038 neoprene foam that we picked in order to finally have a solution for those big guys who find it hard to find a wetsuit that fits.

• The wetsuit consists of two parts: a jacket with hood and Long John pants with shoulder straps. If you wish to convert the pants into high waist one - just cut the top part above the seam line at the waist.
• The pattern consists of 29 pieces and fits most body types perfectly.
• The Yamamoto No38 foam offer more durability than the usual No39 foam, making the suit more resistible to compression.
• The inside of the suit has an open cell, while the outside is covered with a soft and durable nylon fabric.
• Seams are glued with soft Japanese glue and stitched with a blind seam, with additional reinforcements at the joints of multiple pieces.
• The edges of the sleeves, pants and hood are overlocked to prevent wetsuit damage along the edges.
• The lower part of the jacket and the upper part of the pants are covered with elastic tape.
• The cut of the jacket hood is adapted for use in cold water: the hood covers the forehead and chin.
• Knees are covered with abrasion-resistant Supratex material, resistant to snags, cuts, etc.
