MVD PREDATOR ZESO OPEN

Manufactured by MVD Sea Innovation Products, the Predator Zeso is a speargun built to meet the needs of even the most demanding spearfishing enthusiast.

We are offering the MVD Predator Zeso Roller in both Naked and Reasy Pro Setups. Please note that we rig the Ready Pro version in house and our Ready Pro setup differs a lot from the original MVD setup in terms of materials and performance:

• The bands we use are Rob Allen (Green or Blue depending on availability) eliminating any performance differences;
• The pull ratios and pretension is specifically calculated;
• The barrel is plugged with additionaly sealed rubber plugs preventing any possible leakage;
• All line rigging including reel line is done by using Dyneema Cored and Pure Dyneema lines avoiding any tear possibility and reducing stretch issues;
• Double mono looping reducing unnecessary reel involvement.

HANDLE
The handle of the Zeso is one of the first designs in the world that offer a roller ready solution. You can use the same handle and tube setup without the need to modify the speargun barrel if you need to upgrade to a full or inverted roller. Simply switch the muzzles and your gun is ready to be rigged.
The handle sits very comfortably in your hand and the short loading butt does not restrict the movement of your wrist. Unlike many designs on the market, the butt is very compact. One may suspect loading difficulties because of that, but after placing the handle at your chest you will realize that the gun butt is made exactly right to naturally allow the right loading technique where the gun presses your chest at two points. This distributes the pressure equally and facilitates the loading without hurting your chest.
The Zeso handle incorporate long time tested MVD Predator Long trigger mechanism, manufactured entirely by 316L stainless steel. The trigger is very secure and offers great sensitivity even at maximum loads with top line release.
The design of the Zeso handle is roller-ready, which means you don't have to modify anything in the gun, except the muzzle and the rigging if you want to upgrade or convert the gun. MVD has envisaged an anchor hole for the main band pair and added a very robust loading notch allowing even two additional invert roller pairs to be loaded effortlessly. The line release and the safety are easily reversible for left hand use.
The trigger safety of the Zeso revives the extremely simple, yet effective designs of the old days. Mounted at the trigger guard itself, a small knob will block the movement of the trigger lever with a single movement and without any sound. This design does exactly what a trigger guard must do - it will prevent completely the possibility for the user to accidentaly press the trigger.

BARREL
The Zeso barrel offers an integrated shaft guide. The internal diameter is standard 26 mm and the outer is 28.5 mm. It is covered by a special ceramic die that makes your gun more durable and prevents scratching, which is the main reason for the salt water to reach and corrode the tube. The tube is sealed securely.

MUZZLE
The muzzle of the Zeso Open is extremely compact and slick. The metal support ensures this minimalistic design is ready to hold the heaviest load.

REEL
The Zeso Open is offered with the MVD New Soft Vertical reel, which is one of the best designs seen on the market today. The reel is mounted on the trigger guard in order to ensure unobstructed loading with roller setups. The easy drag adjustment, automatic release and compact yet robust design are what puts MVD reels among the best on the market today.The reel capacity varies with the different lengths, assuming larger pray will be hunted with the longer Zeso versions.

CAMERA MOUNT
As of 2021, ZESO is offered without a flip camera mount. An inox mount is available separately.

We are offering the MVD Predator Zeso Invert Roller in two setups:

Naked: Speargun Body
Ready Pro: Speargun Body, New Soft Reel,  MVD SharkFin top barb shaft, monofilament line, reel line, bands and dyneeema wishbones for hardest use.

Be sure to follow all safety guidelines regarding the use of all your spearfishing gear. Always rinse thoroughly your gun after use with fresh water and store it in a dark environment to prolong the life of the rubber bands.
