More info

Carbonio GFT Aguatto are composite fiber blades made of 70% pure carbon and 30% fiberglass and resins.
The Aguatto blades are designed  to satisfy the most demanding freedivers. They facilitate the smooth movement and give precise kick off the bottom with a minimum finning effort at the surface.

The Aguatto model is created in 2010 and provides a combination of innovation and tradition. The model is
now well tested and has achieved great success thanks to the different thickness layering, designed to
create an optimal parabolic curve, which allows a powerful detachment from the bottom and smooth surface
finning.

The strength and innovation is definitely in the use of PrePreg (preimpregnated) composite materials. The technology involves pre-impregnation of the resin with exact humidity percentages required, which gives the blade excellent mechanical characteristics and the benefit of performance and safety.

Despite being considerably long blades, the size of the Aguatto helps for quick and silent movements in the various phases of the spearfishing dive. The blade reacts perfectly even in the most energetic ascents safely achieving significant energy saving for the benefit of bottom time.

The 'Aguatto' has an angle of more than 22°, and thanks to the lateral protectors allows a perfect fit to all models of footpockets on the market. The lateral protectors channel the flow of the water thus providing stability to the blade. The protectors are black by default, but red protectors are available upon request.

A novelty introduced in 2011 was the option for applying camouflage pattern on the carbon fiber blades with the camo painted prior to the polymerization of the resin. As a result, the camp pattern remains perfect and indestructible even when the blade is scratched.

The 'Aguatto' is available in four hardnesses: Super Soft, Soft, Medium and Hard to offer a product that meets everyone's needs. Carbonio GFT's recomendation for the hardness, according to the diver's weight is as follows:
Super Soft - 60-70 kg
Soft - 71-85 kg
Medium - 86 - 100 kg
Hard - 100 + kg

The blades are available in versions for all popular footpockets (not included)?:
 - Pathos Fireblade
