Standard yellow LP hose connecting the regulator's first stage with the octopus. Can be used with second stage.
Usually the divers tend to avoid the yellow color of the octopus hose, as they consider it, well... yellow. However we highly recommend the use of the yellow color for your octopuses. The octopuses are mostly yellow and in an extreme situation your buddy will reach by instict for the yellow hose and not for your primary regulator.

CAUTION:
Diving with damaged hose or hose prone to damaging puts your life in danger!
You should be aware that all diving hoses, regardless of the materiaal or manufacturer will fail sooner or later due to one of the following reasons: age of the hose, storage conditions, handling. Regardless of the manufacturer or brand, all diving hoses require minimum maintenance care:

Do not expose the hoses to direct sunlight for prolonged periods. The heat and UV radiation exposure will shorten significantly the life of your diving hoses.
Do not attempt to clean or flush the hose with any solvent or chemical. New hoses come factory clean and should you think your diving hose is dirty, replace it immediately.
Before each dive you should pressure test your diving hoses and inspect them visually for any sign of physical damage, corroded fittings, bulgings and leaks.

In any case you should replace the diving hose each four years or 400 divers, whichever comes first.
